After effects reserach

Image
After Effects I may consider using: Fade-In and Fade- out: This is the initial idea we had for our film Tyrant as the opening, showing the victims and his bully's chasing and pursuing him. This creates a blinking effect and also helps generate suspense as only selected parts of the scene is being showed. This video below simply explains step by step what to do and how to complete this effect. This is the link for the video:  Fade in and Fade out video Camera Blur: I think this after effect will be extremely helpful in our film especially when the victim is on the floor after being beaten up, then as well when we is walking home injured. This will give the affect of his blurry vision and how he is dizzy and unable to focus. I personally this will look very cool if it is executed properly.  This is the video I will be using to learn:  Camera lens blur Displacement :  I would love to use the displacement after effects for my title Tyrant as it w...

China Case Study

Image
Censorship of Hollywood Blockbuster Films Intensifies in China  China is stepping up censorship of U.S. films as producers make movies with an eye toward pleasing Beijing yet without isolating the global audience, industry insiders say. The roughly 25-year-old practice of cutting scenes that don't conform to Communist Party ideals from Hollywood movies has expanded." Now it's kind of escalated in the sense that they're much more direct in banning films outright rather than just tampering or asking for scenes to be removed". Industry observers say censors are also asking that versions of movies for audiences outside China follow Beijing's script. "As a country under the rule of law, China regulates the film industry in accordance with the Film Administration regulations." The 2021 superhero film "Spider-Man: No Way Home" missed Chinese approval because authorities wanted Sony Pictures to remove images of the Statue of Liberty from the film...

Movie and film Logo research

Image
Dreamworks Pictures:  The general idea of this logo was given by Steven Speilberg, who used his son as the model. It was inspired however by Hollywoods golden age. The original logo just composed of big black and gentle lettering. In 2004-2006 Dennis Muren had a different approach and wanted a hand painted picture of moon themed. The series consisted of a man fishing on the moon, but one version consisted of a boy fishing. This is the version that was chosen. This was chosen because, they believed when a person dreams, they become more like a child than a adult and that children's dreams are unlimited. They don’t know about all these material obstacles that may interfere with their desires. Because of this, nothing is impossible to them. In 2007, t he color palette was also changed and monochrome got replaced by a calm and strong shade of blue, placed on a white background. in 2016 everything that was sky blue became white and vice versa. The artists corrected the boy’s f...
