360 degree marketing:
a comprehensive plan that focuses on reaching the target audience from multiple platforms and channels. This type of strategy generally combines both traditional marketing and digital marketing channels as it infuses within the entire customer journey. E.g Partner brands ( coke. google, McDonalds ) ; Social Media ( Facebook twitter, YouTube ect ).

Immersive marketing: The term immersion marketing or immersive marketing includes traditional advertising, public relations, word-of-mouth advertising, digital marketing, samples, coupons, retail partnerships and other ways of surrounding the consumer with a consistent message about a brand.

Viral MarketingViral marketing is a style of promotion that relies on an audience to organically generate and push the message of a product or service. On social media, marketing is considered “viral” when it's being shared rapidly by the public at large (with a compounding effect) rather than just its target audience.

Hype/Buzz: Hype/Buzz are all concepts/definitions trying to create an expectation to something that is intangible or non-existent at the moment. Marketing is more neutral concept. Hype is generally associated with something negative. Buzz is generally associated with something positive.

Global Marketing Campaign: global marketing campaign is a marketing campaign intended to successfully advertise products or services to a global, rather than a local or regional, audience.

Practice paragraph:

Cross media convergence and synergy plays a huge role in the success of a film. It includes marketing strategies which advertises and promotes a film in way that creates a certain buzz around the movie.  Big Film companies like the big 5 ( universal, Disney, paramount, warner bros and Columbia ) uses the Global Marketing Campaign  in order to reach global audiences rather than just local or regional audiences which maximizes profits as it reaches a larger audience. 360 degree marketing and Immersive marketing are marketing strategies that Disney used for the  Avengers Endgame movie, which was released in 2019 and made  2.798 billion USD. This may be because of their extensive marketing budget of 200 million , in which they could be apart of partner brands like Coke, google and McDonalds.  Another aspect to their successful marketing stagey is that they also used viral marketing in which they used their cast social media to promote the film. The cast of the film had a combine of 50 plus millions followers on Instagram alone.
