After effects reserach

After Effects I may consider using:

Fade-In and Fade- out:

This is the initial idea we had for our film Tyrant as the opening, showing the victims and his bully's chasing and pursuing him. This creates a blinking effect and also helps generate suspense as only selected parts of the scene is being showed. This video below simply explains step by step what to do and how to complete this effect.

Camera Blur:

I think this after effect will be extremely helpful in our film especially when the victim is on the floor after being beaten up, then as well when we is walking home injured. This will give the affect of his blurry vision and how he is dizzy and unable to focus. I personally this will look very cool if it is executed properly.

Displacement: 

I would love to use the displacement after effects for my title Tyrant as it will looks edgy and distorted in a way, making it more visually interesting and accurate to what the film is about. This will be great for me in terms or learning new skills and techniques that make my film effective.
