NZFC+ NZ film Industry

1. Who are the NZFC and what is their primary purpose? The NZFC is an organisation in NZ that focuses on supporting and promoting NZ's film industry. They do this by investing into New Zealand featured films and short films. They aim to contribute production financing to between 8-12 films each year.    We develop scripts and the careers of New Zealand filmmakers. 2.  Treatment  ( Hope)    A treatment for:  One-by-one  Prepared by Sensation Studios:  It will be proposed that our film will be 2-2:30  minuets long and will be filmed off site at one of our group members house. He lives in a nice and central spot, that allows for all cast and crew to assemble and meet. Christian's house is rather modern and big and sets the atmosphere of good and positive vibes, in which will be enjoyed by the actors in the film, as well as the audience watching it. It is also perfect in the sense that we have access to lighting and power, in case any equipment need recaching.  This film will include the following Conventions:  Iconography/ Symbolism: Our film comprises of teenagers who are wearing normal clothes which signifies how these are normal and everyday teenagers who are simply trying to enjoy their time with their company.  Sound:  For our film " One by one" we will use sound to build suspense throughout our film, which will engages the audience and have them on the edge of their seats. we will first have a establishing shot from outside the house, and then the friends that are sitting inside enjoying themselves. We will get the sound of laughter coming from as well as the sound of distinct chit chat.  The music will change when the first victim needs to go to the bathroom, telling the audience something bad is going to happen. This may include a foreboding note or a deep hum. The sound effect of a clock ticking and hitting the hour will be incorporated, to establish the theme of clocks, signifying that each of the friends times are running out before they are next to be killed.  We will most likely play with the sound levels and layering effects, but will stick with something on the lines of suspenseful and dramatic music.
